Terms and Conditions

PAYMENT TERMS. The company for which training is purchased (“Customer”) is entitled to use purchased seats within one (1) year of the date that payment is made.  Following expiration of that year, unused seats will be forfeited and any fees for unused seats will not be returned to Customer.

ELIGIBILITY. Training participation and certification eligibility is limited to (i) current employees of Customer and (ii) authorized partners of Veeva Systems Inc. (“Veeva”) who have an active agreement with Veeva authorizing training participation. Individuals who are partners, contractors, or consultants of Customer but are not official Veeva partners must be pre-approved by Veeva and have an NDA in place with Veeva prior to course attendance. All attendees must be officially registered three (3) business days prior to the course start date. Veeva reserves the right to refuse training and certification to anyone who does not meet the eligibility criteria.

CERTIFICATION. Veeva offers certifications in a number of Veeva Products. Each certification includes a minimum training requirement. After completing the required training, each training attendee will have the opportunity (but is not required) to take a certification exam for their respective product to be eligible for Veeva certification.

CERTIFICATION EXAM ATTEMPTS: Each training attendee will be given two attempts to pass the certification exam. If an attendee does not pass the exam after two attempts, they will not be eligible for a Veeva certification.  If after the second unsuccessful attempt, the attendee wants to obtain their Veeva certification, they must enroll in the training again and repeat the certification process at the end of that training. Should a training attendee fail to attend the complete course, Veeva reserves the right not to grant the certification.

PERSONAL USE TERMS. By accepting these terms, the training attendee will be eligible to receive certain training and education content that is provided by Veeva. The training and education content is provided for personal use only and solely for the benefit of an existing Veeva customer or partner. The training and education content may not be copied, recorded, reproduced, or used (all or any portion) as the basis for training others or creating competitive training or education content without Veeva’s express written consent. The training content may not be provided, shared, or distributed (all or any portion) to others without Veeva’s express written consent. Such training and education content is Veeva’s copyrighted material, and it is agreed that Veeva retains all rights, titles, and interests in and to all such training and education content. Attendees may not share or discuss the training content with any personnel within their company who design, develop, market, or sell products that are competitive with any of Veeva’s products.
